EUA’s governing bodies are:
- A Board elected for four years, comprising nine current or former rectors, including a President and two Vice-Presidents who constitute the Presidency.
The Board is responsible for developing the Association’s policy and work programme and for its implementation together with the Secretary General
- A Council constituted by the Presidents of the National Rectors’ Conferences.
Adopts EUA policies and positions and defines its priorities
- An annual General Assembly of all members
Elects the President and Board and determines the strategic direction of the Association
